Their Story: Scarlett is a 11 years old strawberry roan mare who was rescued from a feedlot in Colorado at the age of 3. She has navicular disease which we believe is the reason why she was dumped at auction. We are helping her with some boots to help her feel more comfortable. She is currently sound at all gaits but summers are a little harder on her as the ground gets harder. We have professional footing in the arena which along with the boots allows us to exercise her without her getting concussion. Scarlett is a very sweet mare who especially enjoys human attention, she is always very eager to come out for a session.
