“The Big Friendly Pony”

Their Story: Lola is a 9 year old pony who we rescued from So Cal Mini Horse Sanctuary along with Rapunzel. Lola used to be very shy, but has come a long way and is the sweetest, most gentle, and uncomplicated soul around. She is very easy to walk and is always happy, she really is like a big teddy bear. Lola has surprised us at how quickly she took to offsite visits, she walked into the buildings without any hesitations and was very calm the first time we took her downtown. She has a very kind expression and a very soothing presence and has exceeded our expectations as a therapy horse. Her past of abuse and malnutrition is definitely behind her and we could not be happier.
