Their Story: Rapunzel is an 10 year old mare who we rescued along with Lola from So Cal Mini Horse sanctuary in 2017. They were both skin and bones at intake and were feral, but the sanctuary did a wonderful job rehabbing them. They were both still recovering mentally from their past and it took a little while to gain their trust. Rapunzel probably got a broken pelvis when she was very young but is doing well now. She got her name because of her huge mane and very strong personality which is why she is the lead mare of the minis herd.  She is very calm, gentle and sweet.
